Ethel Alma Warren

     Ethel Alma Warren, 87, of Linesville passed away April 12, 2026, at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community in Conneautville.

     Born August 24, 1939 in Greenville she was the daughter of Edwin and Catherine (Mattory) Myers. She married George Warren on August 15, 1981. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2013.

     Alma graduated from Linesville High School. She then attended Slippery Rock University and earned a bachelors and a master’s degree in teaching.

     In her younger years, she taught school in Tampa, Florida for four years. Alma then was a school teacher at Linesville High School the rest of her career.

     She enjoyed helping at the Linesville Community Library, walking around town and reading. Alma will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

     Survivors include her two step-daughters, Cynthia Heim and her husband, George, and Paulla Johnson and her husband, Charles; a sister, Arlene Santner; a brother, Curtis Myers; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Connie Warren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; a niece, Jessica Murphy and her husband, Pat; a nephew, William Meyers and his wife, Stephanie; and many cousins and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, June Dietz.

     As per Alma’s wishes, there will be no services.

     Burial will be in St. Philip Cemetery, Linesville.

     Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Philip Church, 401 S. Mercer St. or the Linesville Community Library, P.O. Box 97, both of Linesville, Pa 16424.

     Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
