Elizabeth M, (Grandma Betty) Anderton, 75, of
Linesville, passed away, Friday, February 11, 2011, at
hee residence after a brief but courageous battle with
cancer
Born June 1, 1935 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter
of the late Frank Joha and Agnes Swanson Powell.
She married ‘Thomas E. Anderton Jr. on February 10,
1955; he preceded her in death on February 2, 1996.
She was a graduate of Emlenton High School in
1954. Betty was a loving and devoted homemaker.

of Linesville; a daughter, Viola Piatek and her husband, Scott, of Hutto, seven geandchildre
Beittany, Courtney, Savannah, and Elijah Anderton of and Sarah and Laura Dart of Cortland, New
Alice Shoup; two brothers, Richard and Niles Powell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6,
Linesville. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Bryan J. Powell of the
Linesville Presbyterian Church officiating, Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
