Edna N. Dygert, 61, formerly of Linesville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Meadville Medical Center.  She had been a resident of Park Avenue Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Meadville for the past 10 years.

Born September 20, 1953, in Linesville, she was the daughter of Raymond and Josephine Shreve Dygert.

She was a Linesville High School graduate in 1971.  Edna was a member of  Linesville Pilgrim Holiness Church.

In her younger years, she helped with the housework and cooking at home.  Her favorite pastime was working on plastic canvas and she made cross bookmarks to pass out to people and churches.  She loved playing bingo at the home.  Edna enjoyed listening to music and watching various game shows and the Food Network.

Survivors include two brothers, David Dygert and his wife, Josephine, of Linesville and Dale Dygert of Meadville; two nieces, Kathy Dickson and her husband, Eric, and Jennifer Mercier; a nephew, Daniel Dygert; a great niece, Kristen Watt; a faithful cousin, Kathy Brown and her husband, Bill, of Cochranton; and also many other cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Josephine Dygert and a brother, Raymond E. Dygert.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.  A funeral service will follow the calling hours on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Christine Rogan of the Faith United Methodist Church in Geneva officiating.

Private burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
