Doris I. (Dodi) (Mackay) Myers

Doris I. (Dodi) Myers, 87, of Conneautville, passed away, Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville where she had resided for the last ten years.

Born April 5, 1926, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Donald and Lola Young MacKay.

She had attended Linesville High School.  For a few years, Dodi had worked at Toteline Molded Fiber Glass in Linesville.  She was a loving and devoted homemaker.

Dodi had attended Linesville United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed reading books.

Survivors include four children, Carl Myers and his wife, Maggie, of Byron, Georgia, Lola Myers of Conneautville, Robert Myers and his wife, Wilma, of Linesville and Rosemary Gasporatz and her husband, Bill, of Sandy Lake; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Nina (Jean) Minnigh of Conneautville; and a brother, Donald MacKay and his wife, Glenda, of Albert Lea, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard William Myers, and a sister, Rosemary Martin.

As per her request, there will be no calling hours and services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Doris’s name to Rolling Fields, 9108 U. S. Hwy 198, Conneautville, Pa 16406.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
