Donna Mae Giering

     Donna Mae Giering, 94 of Linesville, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday evening, February 28, 2026. Born January 31, 1932 in Meadville, she was the daughter of Walter E. and Mildred Wilburta (Gee) Clark. She married V. Graydon (Gary) Giering on September 2, 1950 at Hannaville, Pa. He preceded her in death on September 3, 1999.

     Donna was a 1950 graduate of Linesville High School. She and Gary owned Giering Auto Service from the early 1960’s, until November of 2011. She enjoyed working in her yard, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family. In earlier years, she and Gary were members of Honda Gold Wing Retreads. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Linesville.

     Donna is survived by her children, Yvonne Acker, Sandy (Mike) Calvert, Bruce (Sue) Giering, and Chuck Giering; grandchildren Michael Acker, Matthew (April) Acker, Amber Tucek, Heidi Giering, Coult Giering, Asia Starcheski (Brian Leskovec), Whitney (Bill) Breneisen, and Emily (Mike) Miller; 15 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Kelly Mellon-Tino and brother-in-law Chuck (Arda) Sanderson.

     In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by her sister Betty Sanderson.

     A private ceremony will be held for the family at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
