Clara Grace (Irrgang) Pazey

Clara Grace (Irrgang) Pazey, 85, of Linesville, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at her residence.
Born January 30, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Carl and Mary Bryer Irrgang. She married James R. Pazey on February 14, 1998 at St. Philip Church in Linesville. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2004.
She graduated in 1948 from Linesville High School. Clara then earned an associate degree from Edinboro University.
In 1992, she retired from PPG Industries in Meadville after 19 years working as a secretary.
Clara was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
For many years, she was in charge of the Linesville Food Pantry until 2012. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, gardening and reading. Clara was an extremely giving and caring person and she truly had a heart of gold for others.
Survivors include a sister, Rosemarie Sargent of Linesville; two brother-in-law’s, Al Pazey and his wife, Janet, of Cochranton and Clair Pazey and his wife, Marion, of Coraopolis; four nieces, Andrea Mathur of Erie, Joan Pazey and Pat Taylor both of Coraopolis, and Roseanne Stadler and her husband, Doug, of Royer-Ford; two nephews, Mark Sargent and his wife, Barbara, of Erie and John Sargent and his wife, Margie, of Erie; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an aunt Agnes Williams.
Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church, 401 S. Mercer St., Linesville, with Father Chris Hamlett as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Philip Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice, the Linesville Food Pantry, P.O. Box 86, or to St. Philip Church, 401 S. Mercer St., both of Linesville, PA 16424.
The family would like to thank her personal caregivers and Hospice of Crawford County for the kindness and care they provided for Clara.
