Carol Heidkamp December 25, 1944 ~ September 16, 2012 Carol Heidkamp, 67, of New Brighton, passed away suddenly Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Beaver Falls. Born Dec, 25, 1944 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Alexander and Jean Pope Buczynski. She married Charles K. Heidkamp on October 21, 1978 in Pittsburgh; he preceded her in death on March 13, 1997, She was of the Catholic faith. In 1962, she graduated from St. George High School in Pittsburgh. Carol worked for American Express and retired in 1993, She loved traveling and enjoyed playing the slots with her friends. Survivors include, two brothers, Alex Buczynski_ and his wife, Lois, and Rick Buczynski and his wife, Barb; a sister, judy Shea; nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Renee Alex, Eric, Christine, Keri, Ann, Jamie, Daniel and Michelle. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Calling hours will be Thursday 2 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville, Pa. A vigil prayer will be offered during the calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church, 401 S. Mercer St., Linesville, with Father Dennis Veltri, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be private in St. Philip Cemetery.
