Carol Ann Abbott

Carol Ann Abbott, 63, of Linesville, Fased away Monday, July 2, 2012, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville after a one and a half year battle with cancer, Born July 28, 1948 in Erie, she was the daughter of Walter and Grace Marie Dunbar Henderson, She married Earl L, Abbott Jr. on January 23, 1967; he survives. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1966. She was a loving and devoted homemaker and an EMT for the Linesville Fire Department. Carol was a member of the Barton Road United Methodist Church in Meadville. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking and crocheting. Survivors include her mother, Grace Marie Dunbar of Conneautville; two daughters, Paula Whalen and her companion, Ron Bone, and Connie Goodman and her companion, Darry Walker, all of Conneaut Lake; a son, Earl Abbott and his wife, Melissa, of Conneaut Lake; son-in-law, Dan Whalen of Linesville; four grandchildren, Racheal Goodman of Conneaut Lake, Brittany Abbott of Titusville, Anthony Abbott of Erie and Zachary Abbott of Conneaut Lake, two brothers, David Henderson and his wife, Betty, of Albion and Cecil Henderson and his companion Mary Kline of Greensburg; several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and an infant sister. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg.
