Becky Marie Lynn Pittenger Sherrod, 50, of Clinton, Utah, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at her home.
She was born October 27, 1962 in Meadville, Pennsylvania to William E. and Doris A. Perry Lynn.
On February 14, 2009, Becky married Harold Dean Sherrod in Clinton, Utah. She was previously married to John D. Pittenger.
She was employed at the University of Utah Health System Information Technology Services as a Computer Systems Analyst.
Becky was a member of the Roy Christian Baptist Church.
She loved her horses, dogs, and enjoyed traveling and outdoor activities. She cherished the times she spent with her family and friends.
Becky is survived by her husband Harold of Clinton; two sons, John Dale Pittenger, Jr. and Richard William Pittenger both of Williamsport, PA; her father, William Lynn and his wife, Karen, of Harmonsburg; and one brother, James William Lynn and his wife, Amy, of Meadville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris, grandparents, John and Coral Perry, CJ and Madge Lynn and two uncles, Karl Perry and Richard Lynn.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Art Barnes of the Linesville First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine St., Meadville, Pa 16335, in memory of Becky Sherrod.
