Barbara S. Teter

Barbara S, (Miss Barbara) Teter, 56, of Linesville, passed away, Friday, November 5, 2010 at her residence after a valiant battle with cancer. Born November 28, 1953 in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio, she was the daughter of Warren and Jeanette ‘Myer Teter. She was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church in Linesville. Barbara had attended Conneaut Lake High School. For twenty-seven years, she worked at Molded Fiberglass until 2007. She was a ladies auxiliary member of the Linesville American Legion, Post 462. She enjoyed calling Bingo at the Lakeland Senior Center in Linesville, She was an animal lover and especially loved her dogs. Survivors include six sisters, Jean Hesson, Joanne St. Claire, Lois Dozier and her husband, Joha, all of Columbus, Ohio, Margaret Mullen and her husband, Larry, of Espyville, Trudy Forro of Linesville, Connie Cox and her husband, Brian, of Espyville; a brother, John Teter, and his wife, Tina, of Linesville; her dear friends her boys who adopted her as a mother, Josh Parmarter and Jarrod Myers; and many nieces and nephews. As per her request, cremation was chosen. ‘The family will receive friends on Monday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church, 401 S. Mercer St., Linesville with Father John A. Walsh as Cacbaae Burial will be in St. Philip Cemetery. ‘The family suggests memorials be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd., Meadville, Pa 16335 or Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine St, Meadville, Pa 16335.
