Arlene Edwina Santner

     Arlene Edwina Santner, 88, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at her residence.

     Born October 2, 1937 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Edwin and Catherine (Mattory) Myers. She married A. Dale Santner on June 27, 1959. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2012.

     Arlene graduated from Linesville High School. She then attended Slippery Rock University and earned a bachelor’s degree in teaching. For many years, she was a school teacher at Meadville Second District Elementary School until her retirement.

     Arlene and her husband were founding members of Lake Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Red Hats Society. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching the Olympics especially curling, loved entertaining and was a lover of animals. She enjoyed going out to casino with her family and friends. Arlene will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

     Survivors include; a brother, Curtis Myers; a niece, Jessica Murphy and her husband, Pat and their daughter, Chloe; a nephew, William Meyers and his wife, Stephany and their children, Aubry and Adrian; cousin, De De Heinzman; and many friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, June Deitz (Bob) and E. Alma Warren (George); brother-in-law, John Santner (Ann).

     As per Arlene’s wishes, there will be no services.

     Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.

     Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd., Meadville, Pa 16335.

     Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
