Anna B, Lewis, 73, of Conneautville, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 201 tafter a brief illness. Born March 3, 1938 in Hamburg, New York, she was the daughter of William and Lillian Salen Gatzke. She married John M. Lewis on August 26, 1975; he preceded her in death on January 9, 1983. She was a member of the Conneaut Valley Church of the Nazarene. Ann was a loving and devoted homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She devoted her life to her daughters and grandchildren and cherished the time they spent together. She loved going fishing with her grandchildren. She had a love and passion for cooking and enjoyed comforting family and friends with her cooking: Ann seally loved to eat Chinese food. She also enjoyed planting gardens and would can the produce of her garden. Ann was a very strong willed woman and did everything her own way and in her own time. She was greatly loved and respected for who she was and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include two daughters, Shelly Urban and her husband, William, of Conneautville and JoAnn Harvey and her husband, Allen, of Conneautville; three grandchildren, Matthew, Megen and Michael; two great-grandchildren, ‘Matthew Jr. and Katlynn Marie; and five siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three siblings. As per her wishes, cremation was chosen and services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
