Agnes Una NiGabhann (Kathy) Shellito, 75, of Linesville, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Meadville Medical Center.  She had been a resident of Rolling Fields in Conneautville for the past ten months.

Born June 9, 1938, in Dublin, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence Swan Smith.  She married Glenn Shellito Jr. on February 6, 1965, in Swindon, England.

In her younger years, she had worked as a seamstress in London, a skill she had from childhood and shared all her life by making beautiful clothes, wedding dresses, stuffed animals and quilts for her beloved family and friends.  Kathy was a loving and devoted homemaker.

She was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church in Linesville.

In her spare time, Kathy enjoyed quilting, knitting, gardening and traveling, especially to see family in the US and Ireland, where her family would gather to receive her back to her home. Kathy was very proud of her Irish heritage, passing this down to her children and grandchildren. She loved to visit historical sites in Ireland to learn more of the history and Gaelic language. On her last visit she fulfilled her ambition to visit Belleek in Fermanagh. Kathy's kindness, great wit and endearing personality were enjoyed by everyone she met.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Glenn Shellito Jr.; a daughter, Kelli Leech and her husband, Charles, of Conneaut Lake; two sons, Shawn Shellito and his wife, Rebecca, of Durham, New Hampshire and Kerry Shellito and his wife, Jennifer, of Ruskin, Florida; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Mae Morini, Aidan Glenn Shellito and Ryan Andrew Shellito; four sisters, Carmel Goslin , Jean Randell, Chris Moloney all of Swindon, England, and Marie McDonald of Dublin, Ireland; a brother, John Smith of Dublin, Ireland; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis E. Lawton of the Linesville United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
