William (Bill) Kornman Obituary
William (Bill) W. Kornman, 75, of Linesville, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 24, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Ross Kornman. He married Catherine (Cath) Blumenstein on July 4, 1964 at St. Philip Church in Linesville.
Bill worked as a welder for Rockwell International in Ashtabula, Ohio for 20 years. He then worked for Reliance in Ashtabula as a welder for 5 years and later for Western Reserve for 4 years as a Scout. He also enjoyed farming.
He was a member of the Linesville First Baptist Church and the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club in Linesville. Bill enjoyed being outdoors hunting, trapping and going to his camp in Clinton County. He cherished spending time with his family and loved his dogs.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Catherine (Cath) Kornman; two daughters, Connie M. Graff and her husband, Gerald, of Linesville and Yvonne F. Kelyman and her husband, Paul, of Saegertown; three grandchildren, Ashley Fang and her husband, Wenjie, of Portsmouth, Virginia, Brett Miller of Nashville, Tennessee and Colton Kelyman of Saegertown; a great-grandson, Peyton Fang; a brother, Thomas Kornman of Bellefonte; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Smith, of the Linesville First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
