Wib Waterman

     Wib Waterman, 30, of Linesville, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018, from results of an accident. 

     Born October 12, 1987, in Indiana, Pennsylvania, he was the son of John and Lyne Gondal Waterman. 

     He was a 2006 graduate of Linesville High School.  In May of 2011, he graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s of Science. 

     Wib had worked as a substitute teacher for the Conneaut Area School District and was currently an assistant football coach there.  He was employed as a production foreman at Molded Fiber Glass in Linesville.       

     He was a member of the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club in Linesville.  Wib enjoyed being outdoors golfing, four-wheeling and range shooting.  He loved helping the community doing charity work, his dog, Piper, and cherished spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

     Wib was a caring giving wonderful man.  Whatever you needed he was there.  Even in death he continues to give.  He was an organ donor.  Today at least six families will be rejoicing because he has given someone they love the gift of life.   

     Survivors include his parents, John and Lyne Waterman of Conneautville; two brothers, Tory Spadafora and his wife, Yelena, of Concord, Ohio and their son, Austin Spadafora, and Tom Spadafora and his wife, Sara, of Mentor, Ohio and their son Jase Spadafora; his soulmate, Katie Jo Uplinger of Linesville; a uncle, aunt, and cousins, Matthew Waterman and his wife, Lisa, of Columbia, Missouri, and their sons, Wes and Will Waterman, and Elizabeth Hastings of Lander, Wyoming and her daughters, Laura and Crystal Hastings; and a sister, Casey Waterman and niece, Aiya.

     He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Lucille Gondal; paternal grandparents, Wilbur (Wib) Randal Waterman and Frances Waterman Roper Wood; and an aunt, Susan Gondal Pividori. 

     The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
