     Russell (Squeak) Frank Loucks, 86, of Linesville, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie. 

     Born September 6, 1930, in Meadville, he was the son of Herman and Inez Bollard Loucks.  He married Nina Crosley on May 27, 1951, in Mosiertown. 

     He was a 1948 graduate of Linesville High School.  He then served our country in the United States Army as a Corporal during the Korean War and was stationed in France and Germany. 

     In his younger years, Russell worked for American Viscose in Meadville and Union Carbide in Ashtabula.  He retired from Rockwell International in Ashtabula after 25 years.  He also had driven for Warren Brothers in Linesville and was a farmer on the family farm. 

     Russell was a former member of the Pine Masonic Lodge 498 in Linesville.  He enjoyed camping, dancing and going to auctions.  He was very handy and could fix anything around the house.  Russell loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. 

     Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Nina Loucks; three daughters, Tina Woge and her husband, John, of Meadville, Jana Klingensmith and her husband, Larry, of Erie and Lynne Merritt and her husband, Bill, of Harmonsburg; eight grandchildren, Adam Woge and his companion, Calla Perrine, Mark Woge and his wife, Lisa, Kristen Woge and her fiancé, Adam Slingluff, Chase Klingensmith and his companion, Sara Roberts, Conner Klingensmith, Paige Klingensmith, Dylan Merritt and Hunter Merritt; six great-grandchildren, Cayden, Madelynn, Maren, Miranda, Brody and Kinsley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents. 

     Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville. 

     A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Russell Hines, of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ in Cochranton, officiating.    

     Burial with full military honors provided by the Huidekoper Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006 will be in Linesville Cemetery. 

     The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, Pa 16335 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
