     Nathaniel (Nate) Lee Mailliard, 30, of Meadville, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, from a cancerous tumor, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.  

     Born December 25, 1986, in Meadville, he was the son of Robert Walker and Sheila Mailliard.

     He was a 2005 graduate of Meadville High School.  He currently was attending Edinboro University for business and accounting. 

     Nate worked as a loading supervisor for UPS in Meadville.  Also, for the last ten years, he had worked at Dairy Queen in Meadville. 

     He was an avid coin collector.  Nate enjoyed long distance biking and playing tennis.  He excelled at everything he did.  Nate loved cats and owned three cats and cherished two of them. 

     He was extremely proud to be a wonderful dad to Alexander.  Most of all, he loved spending time with Jillian and Alexander.  Nate will be greatly missed by all that knew him. 

     Survivors include his mother, Sheila Jordan and her fiancé, Butch Behr, of Saegertown; his father, Robert Walker and his wife, Amy Fischer of Meadville; his life partner, Jillian Shelatz of Meadville; his son, Alexander Lee Mailliard; five siblings, Chad Walker of Meadville, Cameron Jordan of Saegertown, Austin Jordan of Ohio, Brittany Jordan of Virginia and Chris Fischer of Meadville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joanne Rice and William Mailliard. 

     The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville.

     A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church with Pastor Temple Jarrell, officiating.

     The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.   

     Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
