Lyle Loucks Obituary

        Lyle L. Loucks, 70, of Linesville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at his residence.

        Born January 30, 1949, in Meadville, he was the son of Carlyle (Bud) and Dorothy Graff Loucks.  He married Kathy Wiant on November 2, 1968, at the Meadville Presbyterian Church.

        Lyle was a 1967 graduate of Linesville High School.  For 32 years, he worked at Channellock in Meadville and retired in 2008.

        He enjoyed farming and going to many auctions including the Meadville livestock auction.  For 17 years, he enjoyed woodworking and going to craft shows. 

        Lyle loved attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and watching his grandson race dirt bikes.  He cherished the many family vacations to North Carolina.  He enjoyed their pet cockatiel Princess.      

        Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Kathy Loucks; his children, Leah Loucks (Ed Ferris) of Linesville, Renee Stewart and her husband, Joe, of Greenville, Kyle Loucks (Chris Cusano) of Conneaut Lake and Kevin Loucks and his wife, Suni, of Conneaut Lake; four grandsons, Dustin Stewart (Cammy Yeager), Collin Loucks (Andrea Emmett), Dacoda Stewart and Caiden Loucks; one great-grandchild, who is due in November; his six siblings, Diane Heathcote and her husband, Dale, of Greenville, Eileen Alward and her husband, Roy, of Saegertown, Kerry Loucks of Linesville, Leonard Loucks and his wife, Lisa, of Shiloh, North Carolina, Hugh Loucks and his wife, Brenda, of Linesville, and Richard Loucks and his wife, Ann, of Conneaut, Ohio; a brother-in-law, David Long of Conneautville; his aunt, Ruth Waring of Linesville; and many nieces and nephews.

        He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Peggy Loucks Long; and his step-mother, Betty Loucks.

        The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.  Additional calling will be Thursday before the service from 10 to 11 a.m.

        A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Brenda Loucks, officiating.

        Burial will be private in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Meadville.
