LuAnn (Higgins) Lucchetti

      LuAnn (Higgins) Lucchetti of Meadville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 29, 2018. She was 61. The daughter of James and Mary Woods Higgins, LuAnn was born on October 7, 1957. She graduated from Linesville-Conneaut-Summit High School in 1975.

      LuAnn loved, and was beloved by, her family and friends. She cherished every moment she spent in their company, but perhaps none were more precious than the ones she spent with her granddaughters. They were her loves, and she was their Grammy Lu.

      In her time here, LuAnn came to embrace another family. This family gathers regularly at the Stone United Methodist Church in Meadville. During their meetings she formed deep bonds of trust and love with the other participants, and she rediscovered herself. It was then her true calling emerged: LuAnn found true happiness in helping others.

      Her evident joy in life, and ready smile, are no longer visible to the loved ones she leaves behind. But even in her passing, she continues to give selflessly. As an organ donor, LuAnn will continue to impact and improve the lives of people who will never have the pleasure of knowing her.

      She will be deeply missed.

      Survivors include her mother, Mary Higgins of Linesville, two sons: Bradley Zupancic and his wife, Emily, of Pittsburgh, their two children Maryn and Hadley, and Ryan Zupancic and his wife, Jill, of Alexandria, Virginia; three sisters: Laurie Urbanick and her husband, John, of Conneautville, Lynn Greig and her husband, Timothy, of Linesville and Lisa Kay Arnold of Titusville. LuAnn was also a loving aunt to eight.

      She was preceded in death by her father, James Higgins.

      The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

      Funeral services will be private.

      Inurnment will be in St. Philip Cemetery in Linesville.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stone United Methodist Church, 956 South Main Street, Meadville, Pa 16335.
