Norma Nesbella Obituary

     Norma Evelyn Nesbella, 96, formerly of Linesville and Conneautville and most recently Swanton, Ohio, passed away on March 18, 2024.  She was born June 29,1927 in Wiconisco, Pennsylvania to Eugene and Kathryn (Rigdosh) Sabin. 

     She graduated from Glenville High School in Cleveland where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

     Norma married Andrew T. Nesbella on April 14, 1951.  He preceded her in death on November 6, 2001.

     She was employed at Kightlinger Electric, the Stable Pit & Pub restaurant in Conneaut Lake and Rolling Fields nursing home in Conneautville. 

     She was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church in Linesville where she taught catechism for 12 years.  Norma enjoyed crocheting, gardening, picture puzzles, and was an avid reader.  She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     Survivors include a daughter, Judith Smith (Richard) of Swanton Ohio; a son Andrew M. Nesbella (Dolly) of Meadville; five grandchildren, Carrie Brown, Richard Nesbella, Alyssa Edwards, Daniel McQuiston, and Andrea Meehan; seventeen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Teresa Sanford; and many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Kathleen Etzweiler; and brother, Eugene Sabin.

     Services will be private. 

     Inurnment will be in St. Philip Cemetery in Linesville at a later date.
