Elizabeth (Betty) F. Seyerle

     Elizabeth (Betty) F. Seyerle, 89, of Espyville, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville where she had resided for the past year. 

     Born March 18, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Richard and Evelyn Lander Stroop.  She married Fredrick W. Seyerle on November 25, 1946.  He preceded her in death on October 11, 2003. 

     Betty was a loving and devoted homemaker.  She was a member of the Espyville United Methodist Church. 

     In her spare time, Betty enjoyed gardening, making ceramics, sewing and crocheting.  She also enjoyed going to casinos. 

     Betty was an avid animal lover.  She cherished her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   

     Survivors include two daughters, Linda A. Newhams of Jamestown and Donna L. Vetter and her husband, Ronald, of Espyville; four grandchildren, Christine A. Mondin, David F. Bayens, Justin R. Vetter and Christopher L. Vetter; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. 

     The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. 

     A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan D. Wagner, of the Calvary Baptist Church in Conneautville, officiating. 

     Burial will be in Espyville Cemetery.
